Frank Shallenberger, M.D.

Frank Shallenberger, M.D., is Editor-in-Chief of Second Opinion Newsletter and Second Opinion Health Alert. He is a graduate of the University of Maryland School of Medicine and received his post graduate training at Mt. Zion Hospital in San Francisco. He is board certified by the American Board of Anti-Aging Medicine.

Shallenberger is the founder and director of the Nevada Center for Complementary Medicine and has been practicing medicine for over 43 years.

He is a past Clinical Instructor of Family Medicine at the U.C. Davis School of Medicine, a past president of the Nevada State Homeopathic and Integrative Medicine Association, and was appointed by the governor of Nevada to serve on the Nevada State Board of Homeopathic Medical Examiners. He is a member of the American College for the Advancement of Medicine, The American Preventive Medical Association, and the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine. He has served as a founding board member of the International Bio-Oxidative Medical Foundation, and is also a board member of the Society for Orthomolecular-Health Medicine.

Shallenberger has published numerous scientific papers, and is the author of two books, Bursting with Energy and The Type 2 Diabetes Breakthrough. He is the originator of Bio-Energy Testing, Che-Zone, and Prolozone Therapy and has trained more than 700 doctors in the use of these techniques.

From 2007 to August 2014, Shallenberger was Editor-in-Chief of Real Cures, a popular alternative newsletter.
