George P. Zabrecky is a clinician, researcher, and educator. He earned a chiropractic degree from the National University of Allied Health Sciences and a medical degree from Grace University School of Medicine. Dr. Zabrecky has been practicing integrative health care, based on the principles of "restoration of homeostasis," from 1977 to the present. Currently, his clinical practice, The Zabrecky Institute of Biomedicine, is located in Villanova, Pennsylvania.

Dr. Zabrecky has published several peer-reviewed research articles, in collaboration with Thomas Jefferson, Harvard, Hadassah, and other medical universities. These research trials include the application of the integrative model in the treatment of Pancreatic Cancer, Breast Cancer, Non-alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease/Insulin Resistance, Hepatitis, Stem cells in Autism, Parkinson’s Disease, Mood and Anxiety Disorders, Chronic Insomnia, and others. His current ongoing funded research is focused on Chronic Pain Syndrome, Traumatic Brain Injury, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Congestive Heart Disease, Neurological Lyme Disease, Chronic Mycotoxin Poisoning, and based on the positive benefits of our previous investigation of Parkinson’s Disease – a current study of much greater complexity.

Dr. Zabrecky is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Integrative Medicine at Thomas Jefferson University and Hospitals. This newly created department is the first of its kind within a traditional medical institution in the world. He has been appointed as Academic Director, and in this capacity develops the curriculum, from the integrative department, for the medical students, Post-graduate Certificate and Fellowship programs, and in collaboration with other Department Directors, contribute to the establishment of the first medical residency program in integrative medicine. He is currently co-authoring the premier "Textbooks of Integrative Medicine."
